Adorn me with that gaze,
and set me ablaze,
every moment I yearn,
and they say it’ll hurt but
Oh dear! Isn’t he worth every burn?
Stardust and glitters she tucks behind her ears,
timidly beneath those eyelids she coyly peers;
A wonderful warmth spreads in her soul,
like morning sunshine on hands freezing cold.
Then she smiles;
feeling little butterflies deep inside
Mumbles a no and denies.
And if I were a Firefly,
I’d stay by your side,
so when your days turned too dark;
There’d still be some light.
